Company updates

Company updates, in order. Short, factual, dated — the log of what actually happened.

  1. Company

    brobot.dev goes live

The company site launches with our research areas, roadmap, and engineering log public from day one. Everything on it is data-driven and versioned in the repository.

  2. Research

R&D internship at IISER Bhopal begins

Our founder joined IISER Bhopal as an R&D intern in UAV robotics, swarm intelligence and autonomous systems — hands-on work on ROS 2 multi-agent communication, Docker-based simulation, and GeoAI workflows that directly feeds Brobot's research threads.

  3. Milestone

    National hackathon: team led end-to-end

A 36-hour national-level hackathon at Shivalik College of Engineering — our founder led the team through ideation, architecture, build, and pitch. Good pressure test for how we want to run engineering.

  4. Engineering

    VTOL testbed project starts

Work begins on our vertical take-off, fixed-wing UAV testbed: airframe selection, embedded flight-control research, and the first hardware prototyping iterations.

  5. Product

    Taskify ships to production

Our first software product — an AI-powered work organiser built with Flutter — goes live, with an AI assistant, focus mode, and priority-based reminders. It remains actively maintained.

  6. Company

    Brobot begins

Brobot is established as a research-first robotics effort: build depth in autonomy, publish the work, and grow it into a full-stack autonomous systems company.
