An autonomous aircraft is only as smart as its model of the terrain beneath it. This thread builds the geospatial layer: processing spatial data, generating maps, and producing location-aware decisions that feed navigation and mission planning.
The work integrates GeoAI workflows for spatial data processing and mapping — the same class of pipeline our founder worked with during an R&D internship at IISER Bhopal — and aims them at Brobot's use cases: survey planning, terrain-aware routing, and post-flight map products.
Longer term, this thread merges with SLAM and 3D-mapping research to close the loop: machines that both consume maps and continuously improve them.
